Last week’s Great British Bake Off swiss roll challenge was great.

I didn’t quite feel inspired to bake one myself, I just happened to find some pictures of a terrible swiss roll I made earlier – months ago, in fact.

The sponge was a tad dry, a bit cracked in places, did not get much of a roll out of this one. But it tasted yummy. What would Mary Berry say…?
