How has March been and gone already? This month appears to be a month filled with food, family dog walks, lie ins, binging TV shows, listening to chill music, and a little mini-break.
We visited Bath, soaking in the some culture and really trying to chillax. It really has gotten to the point where I’m so grateful for the littlest things in life. But sometimes it is the little things that help get you through the day.
So, here is March’s gratitude journal:
1 Grateful for UV torches, Artemis had an accident in the middle of the night so these torches are really good at making sure everything is all cleaned up. Grateful for macros, I’ve been using them for work for months now, and for some reason my Excel corrupted so I couldn’t use any macros – you never know what you’re gonna miss till it’s gone. Grateful for sweetcorn, ate a load of sweetcorn for the first time in ages – so tasty, reminds me of old BBQ times too.
2 Grateful for the hubby today, doing DIY, running errands for me, and having good quality family time. Grateful for being a somewhat light sleeper, as I was able to hear Artemis gently whine in her crate and was therefore able to let her out quickly in the early hours of the morning. Grateful for Pringles, as I haven’t had them in ages. Grateful for free charge points, I was expecting the charge to cost a lot, so was pleasantly surprised – or maybe I topped up a while ago and forgot I still had some money left on the balance. Grateful for Google, helping me plan a fun day out next month, I’m really looking forward to the adventure we will have.
3 Grateful for a lie in this morning, totally unplanned, but evidently my body needed more rest! Grateful for reading before bed last night, I was out like a light when my head hit the pillow. Grateful for family dog walks in the sunshine. Grateful for letting my creative juices run, as I was designing something this evening.
4 Grateful for valet car cleaning service, someone came to clean outside and inside the car and it is so clean! They even did the wheels! All the dried mud from the muddy dog walks have been cleared – it looks so good, kind of afraid to go in the car now! Grateful for the hubby finding this service. Grateful for an easy reheat meal this evening, work has been pretty full on lately. Grateful for really good local health services, I’m really impressed by our local healthcare.
5 Grateful for good healthcare providers. Grateful for WiFi. Grateful for jacket potatoes and melted cheese. Grateful for croissants too. Grateful for dog cuddles on the sofa this evening.

Grateful for our past selves batch cooking dinner at the weekend for an easy reheat meal tonight. Grateful for a couple of colleagues who randomly got me a jam doughnut and an avocado. Grateful for management development training, had the last session today and I’ve learnt a lot over this course. 11 Grateful for morning dog walks. Grateful for chicken, feel I haven’t eaten chicken in a while actually. Grateful for sweetcorn with melted butter. Grateful for birdsong in the morning. Grateful for the dog, she’s so funny, traipsing around the garden forgetting to pee when I ask her or when she hears a rustle in the kitchen she comes running over expecting treats!
12 Grateful for the hubby today, was super tired and he just grabbed lots of things for me that were out of my reach. Grateful for Artemis, she was really wanting to lick my moisturiser this evening, but eventually settled to cuddle next to me. Grateful for a sheltered house, walked Artemis in the rain this morning and was so grateful to come home away from the rain and cold!
13 Grateful for chill music, which I listened to whilst driving to reduce road rage – it appears to have worked! Grateful for colleagues, had a nice dinner out this evening, great food and great company.
14 Grateful for free lunch at work today. Also grateful for free breakfast too, which I usually have anyways when in the office. Grateful for checklists, making sure everything is covered. Grateful for reconnecting with a friend I haven’t spoken to in just over half a year, life gets busy sometimes so it’s nice to catch up.
17 Grateful for car parks close to each other, I had wanted to park in one car park but it was full so had to drive to another nearby that was practically empty. Grateful for new memories and live immersive experiences: we visited Phantom Peaks and it was great fun, quite tiring with all the walking but good fun! Grateful for phones with cameras and videos, making it easy to capture moments forever. Grateful for the hubby agreeing to play golf and pool with me – really fun and entertaining afternoon had by all!

Grateful for walking and being able to walk and stretch my legs.
23 Grateful for creature comforts, back home now. Grateful for afternoon naps. Grateful for Easter eggs, started eating my Ferrero Rocher Easter egg already – so tasty. Grateful for new water bottle with built in straws, either I’m thirstier today or the newer larger bottles encourages me to drink more frequently.
24 Grateful for sunny afternoon family dog walks, Artemis was loving playing fetch and when the stick got shortened she then decided to just hold the stick and walk alongside us rather than sniffing around. Grateful for dog cuddles on the sofa this evening, Artemis was snoozing on me, so adorable. Grateful for Girls5Eva, a really funny comedy and we binge watched the latest season.

Grateful for Artemis, even though I was traumatised on our morning walk (she gobbled up a baby bird in seconds), I forget that she is indeed a carnivore – she is my fur baby and whines when she’s left alone for too long. Grateful for birdsong and some sunshine today.
31 Grateful for sunshine. Grateful for blossoms on trees and tulips and irises, lots of colourful and vibrant flowers are blooming. Grateful for afternoon family dog walks, Artemis was loving life and had a relaxed and open mouth – her tongue was out most of the walk, so adorable.
