A few weeks back my friends and I made a massive cake for the first time in a very long while. Without an electric whisk. It became a tag team match swapping the hand-held whisk to try and get some blood back into the arm.

Needless to say it took a while. But yay, a lovely cake that tasted really good. All for my hubbie’s birthday. Awww.

I got the recipe from a baking book, and named the post after the recipe title. Maybe next time it’d be more “perfect”.
