Entertaining film, really  good book. It only took me almost two years to read it.

After studying English Literature for three years, having read what seemed like three to five books a week, it took me two years, on and off, to finish reading the first Hunger Games book.

Now, let’s see how long it takes me to read the second Hunger Games book. I am determined to finish it before I get too old to enjoy this kind of thing.

This happened with Harry Potter: I’ve only read up to book four of the Harry Potter series. Had to do quite a bit of wikifying after watching the films, had no idea what some of the magical artifacts were and no one would explain things to me.

Aim: finish reading the third Hunger Games book before the third film comes out. Challenge accepted.
