The sponge turned out well, not as moist as I hoped. The terrible part was putting the cake together: the writing, as you can see, was not well written; and the icing in between the layers was quite runny. Very runny, in fact.

I had hoped after an hour in the fridge the icing would set, it didn’t, not nearly as much as I hoped.

Icing is definitely not my strong point. The cake tasted nice though!
